Altiyan is a dead ringer for my son .. we share the same last Name .... was curious to find out some more about his Grandfather or Great Grandfather as I know little about my grandfather and his family ...all I know is his name and he had two sisters. He left when my father was little and moved interstate. It is believed that he had another family after this. Would be much appreciated if any information could be emailed if known ... Thank You ... ps.. I would understand if you do not wish to disclose information. Im just trying to establish my family tree

Honestly I wasn't sure about Altiyan in the beginning
But I felt there was something really special just waiting to be released.
So I watched, waited, and voted for him every week.. Waiting to see when he would find his path. Then when it arrived, I waited for him to see, what I saw from the beginning. Then when he believed, really believed I watch the universe open, exposing all that had been locked away, hidden for way to long. The gift was released, it's time had come and the giver was now ready to accepted it and shared its enjoy as only the one it was meant for could.
And now, I sit and live in that gift. I am totally and completely content. Loving very moment..
And i look forwarded to sharing it with you all.

Hi I'm Anne. :) I'm from Perth and followed Altiyan all through his X Factor journey. I fell more and more under his spell each week. There is something incredibly special about Altiyan! It's like a spirit or energy takes him over every time he performs. Not many singers have that anymore. It's like he goes into his own little world and he takes us into that world with him. Well that's how I feel anyway lol.

I'm Janine, originally from South Africa and now living in Adelaide, South Australia. I'm married, with 11 year old twin daughters.
I though there was something special about Altiyan from the first moment I saw him in his first audition. I think he's a truly gifted artist and as a bonus, I absolutely love the qualities he projects as a person. I find him deeply insightful, compassionate, endearing, complex, kind, introspective, adorable, generous and thoughtful. It touches me deeply that so many people are willing to go beyond the inane stereotypes produced in some of the media coverage about him and embrace him.
I'll be buying ANY music he produces. He could sing recipes and I'd still find them mesmerising!!

Hey I'm Steph from Auck, NZ!

Fell in love with Altiyan from the very first audition, was stoked to see him make it into Ronan's final 3.I had a feeling right from day dot that he would take out the title, there was just something special about him, I'm glad the Australian public got it right!

I started up and run the FB page 'Bring Altiyan Childs to NZ - Kiwi Fan Page', if you're also a NZ fan of his please jump on over and join our group! The more the merrier. I'm thinking of changing the name of the group in the not-so-distant future, seeing as though he's coming over to perform at Xmas in the park.

And a little bit about me, I'm 23 yo, full-time (single) mother to my little man who is coming up 4 in March. He's just as much of an Altiyan fan as myself, everyday he will sit on the laptop watching youtube clips of Alti's live performances. He knows all the lyrics off by heart and constantly tells me he wants to learn Guitar and sing like Altiyan. It's gorgeous, I too have been inspired to learn to play the Guitar too, something I've always wanted to do!
